General Information

The Journal of Monetary Economics welcomes the submission of manuscripts in all areas of macroeconomics.  The Journal is now using the Elsevier Editorial System (online submission system) to manage all of its editorial processes.  Before submitting a manuscript, however, please consult our Guide for Authors.

The Journal publishes one volume each year comprised of 8 issues.  These issues appear in January, March, April, May, July, September, October and November.  The January and July issues of each year are dedicated to the Carnegie-Rochester Conference on Public Policy

The Journal occasionally will publish the proceedings for other conferences such as the biannual conference on macroeconomic policy sponsored by the Studienzentrum Gerzensee (Study Center of the Swiss National Bank).
